The view of Zurich from our hotel was just as spectacular at night as it was during the day (only just a bit trickier to capture).

When travelling through Europe in mid-March you have a 50 / 50 chance of getting either great weather or a cold rainy day. Our first day in Zurich we lucked out and spent a great day exploring exploring the city with the sun shining down on us.

The Limmat river runs through the city of Zurich and commences right to Lake Zurich. Okay…had to let you know the details but the beauty of it is just walking along the river on a beautiful, sunny, pre-spring day.
