We’re On A Roll!
One of my most favourite cities in the world is New York and I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to visit often. I was there at the beginning of July for a long weekend and the reason for this latest trip was more then just a weekend getaway but it was also to do a bit more shooting underground in the subway. There was a very special reason for this which I will reveal over the next few weeks so stay tuned.
I did manage to stay above ground as well and spent a day in Brooklyn shooting on a very hot, humid and rainy day.

End of the Line
Here’s another image from my Subway Tableau©️ series.
Sometimes, no matter how hard you look it’s not always easy to see the end of the line.

The Oculus
This is fast becoming a favourite destination when in New York. Now I just have to decide whether its because I love photographing this spectacular structure or whether its because I can go shopping at Century 21 afterwards 🙂
After some initial tweaking in Lightroom I used Nik Silver Efex Pro for the black and white conversion and then Topaz Simplify to make the crowd a bit more “faceless.”

Subway Tableau #4
I was back in New York a couple of months ago and picked up where I left off with my subway project…right back on the platform.

The Reader
A reader in Milan. He provided me with a perfect photo-op and didn’t even know it.
