Malaga Port
Another beautiful place to spend an evening in Malaga is at the port / marina. It’s a great place to eat, shop and of course do some night photography. The beach, port and old town are all within a 10 minute walk from each other. If you’re planning a trip to Spain make a stop in Malaga, you won’t be disappointed.

The marina boasts a lighthouse in the harbour….
….and a ferris wheel….
….and the Pompidou Center, the famed French museum has a pop-up in Malaga.
Old Town Malaga
Malaga is one of the oldest cities in the word. It was founded in 770 BC by the Phoenicians and was originally known as Malaka. In addition to its long history, Malaga is also the birthplace of painter and sculptor Pablo Picasso, Hebrew poet and Jewish philosopher Solomon Ibn Gabirol and the actor Antonio Banderas.
Day or night the beauty of this city is hard to resist.

Star Trails over Turtle Lake
Last weekend we were invite to a friends cottage. Aside from enjoying the company of wonderful friends and relaxing in beautiful surroundings I was most excited to try my hand at shooting star trails and the Perseid Meteor Showers that occurred over the weekend.
Here’s one of first attempts at star trails. This was a 15 minute exposure.
