About Me & Project 52
Welcome to Project 52. So you may be asking why start a photo blog now when there are hundreds available online already. Well…good question. With a full-time job, my own business creating Tribute DVDs and photo books and 2 teenage boys at home why start on this adventure?
While photography has always been a hobby, over the last few years it’s turned into a true passion. This photo blog is a way for me to get out and shoot more often as well as to hone my creativity.
I’ve been striving to improve my photos both technically as well as through post processing techniques. This brings me to Project 52 which almost started out as Project 365 but let’s be realistic, a picture a day for the next year was too much even for me to contemplate biting off. So Project 52 was born. A new photo (or two) every week.
Where do you come in? Well…I hope you enjoy the pictures. I learned long ago (even as an only child) that it’s no fun to create something if you can’t share it with the people around you. Send me your feedback. I really do want to hear what you have to say or I wouldn’t ask.

Loved your photo of the Scarborough Bluffs. I grew up in the area and used to climb them when I was a kid. Your photo brought back lots of memories.

Hi! I’m hoping that you can give me some advice…I have had my macbook pro for about two months, and I want to purchase either photoshop or now possibly, since reading your blog, Topaz……I don’t need a lot of excess capabilities….primarily the ability to remove dust…(the cloning tool on photoshop) and to make an place a watermark on my images…resizing etc…all the basic things……which would you recommend and how can the macbook pro handle the size of Topaz?…Thanks for any advice that you can give,!
