Wave III
You can probably guess by now that I love being at the beach, I love the water and I love photographing the water especially doing long exposures. This is another of my Tel Aviv, Israel seascapes. I love capturing the waves in their different forms and the long exposure calms an otherwise raging sea.

Wave II
“The waves broke and spread their waters swiftly over the shore. One after another they massed themselves and fell; the spray tossed itself back with the energy of their fall. The waves were steeped deep-blue save for a pattern of diamond-pointed light on their backs which rippled as the backs of great horses ripple with muscles as they move. The waves fell; withdrew and fell again, like the thud of a great beast stamping.”

Wind Beneath My Wings
Birds flying high
You know how I feel
Sun in the sky
You know how I feel
Breeze driftin’ on by
You know how I feel
It’s a new dawn
It’s a new day
It’s a new life
For me
And I’m feeling good
I’m feeling good

The 5 Best Things About My Trip to Israel & Tel Aviv Kite Boarding
I’ve just returned from 2 weeks in Israel and while I’m still trying to shake this jet lag, here are the top 5 best things about this trip:
#5 – Shakshuka is the Middle East’s greatest breakfast invention (go ahead…Google it 🙂 ), but really it’s great any time of the day.
#4 – Tel Aviv! it’s one of the best cities in the world. If you don’t believe me check out Lonely Planet’s annual “best cities” rankings. I’ll do a separate post on Tel Aviv soon.
#3 – Using my new Canon 5D Mark 3 – love, love, love it. More on that later.
#2 – The beach.
#1 – Seeing my SON!
At this time of the year, with blustering winds and cresting waves, kite boarding was the sport du jour.
