The Surfer

An early morning shoot that yielded no significant sunrise but the early spring fog and the cool weather provided for a good backdrop. The surfers were out as were the joggers and little ole me with my tripod and gear getting ready to do some long exposures on the beach in Tel Aviv.

This surfer came out of the water and I was able to pivot and turn quickly to capture this shot.

  2. The mist and the punch of the surfer are part of the lure of the seashore. Nicely done.

I really liked this image on Instagram, and it’s even better here (because I’m not viewing it on my phone).

  7. Well caught Edith, and the muted background is perfect. You never what surprises are waiting when you set out with a camera.. as this is evidence.
