iPhone Friday – Imaging USA
I got back a couple of days ago from Nashville where I attended Imaging USA 2015. I can’t say enough about the experience. It was 4 days filled with educational seminars and photographic inspiration.
I was fortunate to reconnect with some old friends and make new ones. I finally got to meet photographers who I had only interacted with online and that was a thrill. I didn’t do any shooting because the days were filled with seminars dealing with the business of photography; processing workflow; lighting techniques and inspirational lectures. Armed with my new iPhone 6, I did take a couple of hours on my first evening and headed downtown to see a little bit of the city as this was my first time in Nashville.
Yeah !!! 😉

So glad you loved the conference! How many attended? Was it all pros or a some amateurs, too?
Believe it or not, the one place that I didn’t see was the new Opryland Hotel. I spent all my time downtown and never got there. I’ve seen many photos though. Did you enjoy your stay there?

I don’t know the exact number…hundreds. It was a mixture of pros / semi-pros and serious hobbyists I think. I did enjoy the stay but it is a bit too big.

I have never been there but a good friend Jaki Goode Miller was. Hope you ran into her as she is an amazing portrait photographer.
