Here’s one more from Falmouth, Jamaica. Oh and their coffee was quite good. If you look behind the palm tree you can see the ship…larger then any of the buildings in port (or the city for that matter).

I love these shots, so much colour. Im assuming they are hdr?? how did you get the people to be so clear, when ive had people in the image of a hdr they always come out a little blurred — would love some tips and advise from you 🙂

Thanks so much for visiting and for the comments Kirsty. Yes this is an HDR from 3 bracketed exposures. Luckily these people were just standing there and talking when I fired off these brackets. There was slight movement but Photomatix took care of that with its anti-ghosting. I usually select the item (in this case the people standing there) and let the software do the job. I some case where there is a lot of movement and the anti-ghosting doesn’t do a great job I will select the people, right click and select a particular exposure to use. Once I bring the image into Photoshop the area may need more work and if that’s the case I would use a layer mask to bring in my subject from one of the original brackets. Hope that helps.

An almost surreal photographs that look more like a painting than a photo. I love the intense colours. Of course the real Jamaica Blue Coffee is one of the best and also one of the most expensive coffee varieties in the world.
